WG Meeting 2017 (Banyuls-sur-Mer)
The EuroXanth COST Action had its 1st Working Group Meeting at the Oceanographic Center in Banyuls-sur-Mer, France, on September 12, 2017. The meeting welcomed 13 participants from seven countries (see below) and served as a platform to discuss strategic issues (organisation of COST events during the upcoming grant periods; preparatory work for tangible deliverables) with respect to Working Groups WG2 (Pathogen Biology) and WG3 (Genetic Resistance – Host Defence).

The meeting was organised back-to-back with the EFFECTOME/RESISTANCE Workshop, which took place at the same place from September 12 to 15, 2017. The EFFECTOME/RESISTANCE Workshop welcomed around 80 participants and was organized by Dr. Thomas Kroj, Dr. Jean-Benoit Morel (both at INRA, Montpellier), Dr. Nemo Peeters and Dr. Laurent Deslandes (both at INRA, Toulouse).
