Research Topic “New Approaches in the Detection of Plant Pathogens”
Our colleague Kris De Jonghe serves as a guest editor for the Research Topic “New Approaches in the Detection of Plant Pathogens”. This publication will appear in the Frontiers journal Frontiers in Agronomy.
We recommend to submit your research papers, commentaries or reviews addressing various aspects of plant-pathogenic Xanthomonadaceae to this Open Access journal. Some of the potential topics include:
- The development and validation of generic and specific detection methods for plant pathogens;
- Innovative technologies that assist detection and identification of plant pathogens in support of eg. early detection, warning systems, emerging problems and actual problems putting pressure on crop cultivation in horticulture and agriculture;
- Integration of HTS technologies in plant-pathogen diagnostics in particular, and (regulatory) plant health in general.
