Workshop 2020 #4 (Zoom)
The EuroXanth COST Action held its 6th Workshop online via Zoom on December 9, 2020. COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) is a funding organisation for research and innovation networks. Their Actions help connect research initiatives across Europe and beyond and enable researchers and innovators to grow their ideas in any science and technology field by sharing them with their peers. COST Actions are bottom-up networks with a duration of four years that boost research, innovation and careers.
The workshop welcomed participants from 15 countries (see below) who presented and discussed ideas for an upcoming COST Innovators Grant (CIG) proposal. In conclusion, two major topics were identified as candidate projects for a CIG proposal, (i) microbiota, and (ii) diagostics and diversity.
