Call for Virtual Networking Support and Virtual Mobility Grants

We are delighted to announce the opening of the calls for the Virtual Networking Support (VNS) Grant and for Virtual Mobility (VM) Grants.

The Virtual Networking Support (VNS) Grant aims at promoting virtual collaboration to complement traditional ways of collaboration within the research and innovation communities. The VNS Grant shall be awarded to the best candidate who will serve as the VNS manager and who will develop and implement an overall strategy for virtual networking and who will manage the evaluation of VM Grant applications.

Virtual Mobility (VM) Grants aim at strengthening the existing networks by allowing scientists to foster collaboration in a virtual setting, to exchange knowledge, learn new techniques, disseminate Action results, etc. VM Grants shall be awarded to the best candidates who propose and manage virtual activities that will make a significant contribution to the achievement of the COST Action’s Objectives, Goals and the Deliverables.

The applications will be evaluated by the Core Group of the EuroXanth COST Action, consisting of the Action Chair, the Action Vice Chair, the four Working Groups Leaders, the Science Communication Manager, the STSM Coordinator, and the ITC Conference Manager, following the criteria, as defined by the Management Committee and outlined above (in bold). More information can be found at our website under “Grants“.

If you wish to apply for a Virtual Networking Tool grant, please send your application documents to the Chair (Dr Ralf Koebnik, ralf.koebnik@ird.fr) and the Vice-Chair (Prof Vittoria Catara, vcatara@unict.it) of the EuroXanth COST Action.
