Third Call for Publication Grants

We are delighted to announce the opening of the 3rd call for Publication Grants from the COST Action EuroXanth. Publications funded by COST must be a direct result of work performed by Action Participants and must be co-authored by Action Participants representing at least three different Participating COST Full Member countries / COST Cooperating Member countries.

If you have a manuscript under the Open Access model that fits to these rules you are cordially invited to apply for a Publication Grant. The application, including the accepted manuscript and the open access publication fees, should be sent by email before August 31, 2021, to the Chair of the COST Action, Dr Ralf Koebnik.

Applications for Publication Grants will be evaluated ad hoc by the Core Group of the EuroXanth COST Action, consisting of the Action Chair, the Action Vice Chair, the four Working Groups Leaders, the Science Communication Manager, the STSM Coordinator, and the ITC Conference Manager. Please be aware that Publication Grants can only be provided if the manuscript has been accepted (with assigned DOI) and if the invoice has been submitted to the Grant Holder (IRD Montpellier) before September 5, 2021. Importantly, grants can only be paid by direct transfer from the Grant Holder to the publisher – reimbursements to the institutional or personal bank account of the corresponding author are not possible.

Please keep in mind to acknowledge the support from COST whenever justified. For any publication emerging from and/or supported by this COST Action (e.g. via STSM, collaboration among COST Action participants, project discussions during meetings), please use the following phrase in the Acknowledgements: “This article is based upon work from COST Action CA16107 EuroXanth, supported by COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology).

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact us.

With kind regards,
Ralf Koebnik (Chair)
